Leading specialist of the weather center “Phobos” Alexander Sinenkov spoke about the weather in Moscow on Friday 16 December. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“The nature of the weather will be determined by the crest of the anticyclone. Partly cloudy weather with a chance of light snow in some places in the morning. The maximum temperature in the capital is minus 1-3 degrees, in the region – minus 1-6 degrees,” he said.
And he added that the atmospheric pressure will be 754 millimeters of mercury.
As the Public News Service previously wrote, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand said that snowfalls and snow drifts are expected in Moscow on Friday, December 16.
He clarified that heavy snow is more than 6 mm of precipitation.
