The head of the Meteo prognostic center, Alexander Shuvalov, in an interview with Evening Moscow, promised a thaw to Muscovites before the New Year.
According to him, on Wednesday, December 21, it will begin to warm in the capital.
This day will begin with snow, which will turn into freezing rain, but by the evening there will be a thaw, the meteorologist said.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand spoke about the weather in Moscow for the coming weekend.
