Border Service Finland detained 18 violators on the closed border with Russia. About it reported on the official website of the Finnish department.

“The Border Guard of South-East Finland detained 18 people suspected of violating the state border in Imatra, north of the border point on January 25, 2024,” the border guards indicated.

It is noted that the group of violators consisted of men, women and children from the Middle East. The detainees requested asylum in Finland.
