Former Advisor to the Head of the President’s Office Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky Alexey Arestovich (listed as terrorists and extremists Rosfinmonitoring) in his Telegram channel, he called a video that appeared online in which he allegedly promised to expose the Ukrainian leader a deepfake.
Before this, a recording appeared online in which the fake Arestovich announced an “information bomb” with the “truth” about Zelensky at the beginning of 2024. It was spread Telegram- channel “Pool N3”.
In the fake recording, the politician stated that the actions of the head of state defied common sense, and noted the existence of a certain plan to end the conflict, which was supported by influential generals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
“The appearance of deepfakes in modern conditions is a sign of quality. This means that your appeal is considered as a significant socio-political factor,” Arestovich emphasized, calling for his appeal to be looked for on official pages.
At the beginning of November Arestovich statedthat he is ready to run for president of the country. As an election program, he presented a list of 14 points, which included all sorts of reforms and the transition to strategic defense.
