According to bourgas.ru, one of these days an exhibition of works by the brilliant Spanish artist Pablo Picasso will be held in Burgas.

Exhibition “347 Suite” – the largest series of etchings by Picasso, will be exhibited in the hall “Al. G.-Kojakafaliata” Sea Casino from July 14 to the end of August 2022.

The exposition will be implemented thanks to the cooperation between the Municipality of Burgas and the Museum of History and Art in Geneva.

The exceptional engravings (drawings engraved on metal plates) from Picasso’s famous “347 Suite” were created between March 16 and October 5, 1968, in collaboration with the master printers Aldo and Piero Cromlink. The current deluxe Japanese edition was donated to the Museum of History and Art in 2020 by the painter’s son Claude Picasso Ruiz and his wife Sylvie Vautier Picasso.

Entry to the exhibition will be by ticket.

The price was approved at the next meeting of the municipal council of the city. Entrance to the exhibition will cost adults – BGN 7, schoolchildren, students and pensioners – BGN 5. For a group visit of at least 10 people – BGN 5. from a person. Children under 7 and people with disabilities are admitted free of charge.

The municipality of Burgas expects receipts from tickets for the entire period of the exhibition in the amount of at least BGN 20,000.
