Former Deputy Minister of Labor Russia Pavel Kudyukin explained why pensioners lose money after indexation of pensions.
According to him, which leads MK, the indexation of pensions lags behind the real rise in prices in the country.
“Pensions in Russia should be at least 40% of the average salary. In our country, it does not even reach 30%. That is, the average Russian worker, having retired, immediately loses more than two-thirds of his income, ”he explained.
Earlier, the Public News Service wrote that in Russia on January 1, 2023, minimum wage (minimum wage), pensions and living wage after the entry into force of the relevant laws.
Now the minimum wage is 16,242 rubles, the cost of living is 15,669 rubles. The average old-age pension of non-working citizens will be 21,862 rubles.
