ex-ambassador LC in Moscow, Rodion Miroshnik stated that Kyiv can use the New Year holidays to commit provocations. However, given the current state of the Ukrainian army, there can be no talk of breaking through the line of contact from the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, TASS writes.
“Ukraine is not going to negotiate, use any mechanisms to achieve at least a temporary truce, especially since the mechanisms themselves simply do not exist,” the agency quotes Miroshnik as saying.
The former ambassador admitted that the Ukrainian authorities may try to commit as many provocations as possible during the New Year holidays. However, Miroshnik added that he sees more informational noise in this.
We remind you that on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. The Russian leader called the goal of the SVO the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine, as well as the protection of civilians from genocide and abuse, to which they were subjected for eight years by the Kyiv regime.
