AT Estonia will spend more than 900 thousand euros on the dismantling and transfer of Soviet military monuments. It is reported by ERR.

According to government spokeswoman Yevgenia Vyar, the authorities have allocated more than 900,000 euros for activities related to the dismantling of Soviet military monuments.

Estonian Finance Minister Anneli Ackermann took the initiative to allocate 60,000 euros from the government reserve for the work of a group to dismantle Soviet monuments.

Earlier it became known that Estonia wanted to start the procedure for the transfer of frozen assets RF Ukraine. Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu said that Tallinn intends to develop a mechanism for transferring the frozen assets of the Russian Federation to Ukraine.

“We discussed this with the government and decided that in parallel we would start creating a legal structure that would allow the use of this money,” the newspaper quotes him as saying.
