Supply of Western fighters F-16 will not change the situation for the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU). The Minister of Defense stated this Estonia Hanno Pevkur, quoted by him RIA News.
According to the Estonian minister, the Ukrainian Armed Forces primarily need supplies of ammunition. He cited the example of long-range missiles and ammunition for multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
“Jets are important, but jets alone will not change the course of the war. In the end, we need an army that controls the territory and recaptures the territory, because you can’t return the territory with airplanes,” Pevkur expressed doubts.
Previously retired Armed Forces officer USA Daniel Davis statedthat the Russian air defense system will shoot down all American F-16 fighter jets supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
