The president Turkish TAyyip Erdogan said that during the upcoming telephone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to offer its mediation to resolve the conflict.

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the talk between the heads of Russia and Turkey is scheduled for January 4. Turkey said Erdogan is also planning talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The interlocutor of the agency noted that this year, President Erdogan will continue to make efforts to resolve the conflict in order to achieve a ceasefire. The Turkish President intends to continue to offer his mediation. Today’s telephone conversations will be no exception.
