One of the most vulnerable places smartphone is the port for charging it. Engineer Nikolai Novikov, in an interview with IA Prime, told how to protect your device from breaking in an unexpected place.

The specialist noted that dust entering the port of the device can be avoided by cleaning the connector every two to three months. According to him, the procedure should be carried out very carefully, since it is extremely easy to damage the contacts.

The interlocutor of the agency advised using thin needles or toothpicks, as well as liquids with a high alcohol content. Thus, it will be possible to get plaque and dirt out of the connector, the expert summed up.

Earlier, as the Public News Service reported, cyber expert Denis Kuskov recommended that users check the memory level of smartphones and tablets in order to avoid slowdown device operation.

He explained that special attention should be paid to widgets, in other words, auxiliary applications located on the main screen, since they, in particular, take up a large amount of device memory.
