According to the ministry Energy of Ukrainewithout exception, all nuclear power plants and most of the country’s thermal power plants were de-energized on November 23 as a result of rocket fire.
“Today’s rocket attack has led to a temporary blackout of all nuclear power plants, most thermal power plants and hydroelectric power plants,” representatives of the ministry informed on their page on the social network.
The ministry said that emergency power outages were recorded throughout Ukraine, which, in turn, could cause a temporary shutdown of water and heat supply.
Earlier, an air raid alert sounded throughout Ukraine. According to the authorities, problems with power supply were recorded in Lvov, Nikolaev, Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Zaporozhye, Kharkov. Later, local authorities reported a complete power outage in Lvov, Kyiv and Odessa regions.
