In connection with the aggravation of the crisis, the Serbs may launch their own special military operation (NWO) in Kosovo. About it writes RIA Novosti.
An extremely difficult situation has developed in the region. Belgrade again hopes that everything will be settled by itself, but there is very little time left. Tomorrow Serbia intends to send to KFOR (a regional brand of NATO troops in Kosovo – approx. DOS) a request for the deployment of military police to the north of the province. However, almost everyone is convinced that a refusal will follow.

If the Serbs in Kosovo do not stop blocking roads in protests, and the Albanian side is forced to use special forces to disperse them, Serbian leader Aleksandar Vucic will be in an unenviable position.
There are only two options for the development of events: either the Serbian leader will not take any action at all, but this will hit his reputation and deprive the voters; or he will officially announce the beginning of the Serbian NWO. The main reason for the second option is the fact that the Albanians refused to adhere to the Brussels agreements concluded back in 2013.
As previously reported by the Public News Service, State Duma deputy Anatoly Vasserman assessed the likelihood of a serious armed escalation in Kosovo. He stated that he did not believe in this, since Pristina had NATO countries as its allies.
