On the morning of December 15, Donetsk was subjected to the most massive strike Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) since 2014, follows from the statement of the mayor of the city Alexey Kulemzin.
According to him, Ukrainian nationalists committed another crime. He noted that at 07:00 local time the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the Voroshilovsky district using BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket launchers (MLRS).
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine subjected the center of Donetsk to the most massive strike since 2014,” Kulemzin confirmed.
The mayor stressed: in total, Ukrainian militants fired 40 rockets. The square at the intersection of Bogdan Khmelnitsky Avenue and Universitetskaya Street, as well as Shkolny Boulevard, Naberezhnaya Street and the Covered Market area came under fire. Information about possible victims and destruction is being specified.
On Wednesday, December 14, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired nine NATO-style projectiles at Petrovsky, Kuibyshevsky and Kirovsky districts of Donetsk in five minutes.
