AT St. Petersburg 13 doctors accused of stealing drugs for the treatment of oncology. This is reported by the joint press service of the courts of the city.

It is reported that from February to October 2020, employees of the St. Petersburg city clinical oncology dispensary stole drugs worth more than 11 million rubles. According to the court, the stolen drugs were supposed to go to four hospitals in the city for the treatment of cancer patients.

“The figurants stole medicines intended for the treatment of patients of the oncology departments of the St. Petersburg GKOD GKOD, the N.N. N.N. Petrov» of the Ministry of Health of Russia, FGBOU VO PSPbGMU im. I.P. Pavlov of the Ministry of Health of Russia, GBUZ LOKOD for a total amount of 11,491,254.43 rubles, ”the statement says.

At the same time, only one defendant admitted his guilt. As a result, the court sentenced the defendants to imprisonment from 2 years and 4 months to 4 years.

It is noted that four people received real terms, the other four were released due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. The rest were given suspended sentences.
