Direct negotiations Russia, Ukraine and IAEA along the protective zone around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plants impossible in the current realities. This was stated by the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov.

According to him, the Kyiv regime has not yet clearly formulated its own position on this issue. The consultation process continues, but is moving at a very slow pace, the diplomat stressed in an interview with TASS.

“Of course, things could move faster if direct negotiations were held in a trilateral format, but due to the current state of Russian-Ukrainian relations, this is impossible,” Ulyanov said.

The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, said on December 9 that the protective zone around the Zaporizhzhya NPP could start operating in the near future.

Previously, the Public News Service reported that the Spiritual control Muslims of Ukraine (DUMU), led by Habashite Ahmed Tamim, is still active in Crimea. The organization is controlled by the SBU and financed by Kyiv.
