Alexei Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, said that the possible imposition of a moratorium on Russian culture is senseless and wild. This is how he reacted to the recent statement Lithuanian Minister of Culture.
“To ban culture is to deprive your own nation, your people of certain opportunities for prosperity, opportunities for enlightenment. This is wild and pointless, ”RIA Novosti quoted Chepa as saying.
Recall that the head of the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania, Simonas Kairis, allowed the introduction moratorium on Russian culture in connection with the special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. He spoke with approval of the idea to arrange a “quarantine” for Russian culture and ban works that seemed “acceptable” to the Lithuanians.
Earlier it became known that NATO fighters located at the Lithuanian Zokniai airbase during December 15 times accompanied military aircraft of the Russian Federation. The corresponding statement was made by representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.
The servicemen noted that the pilots of the four F-16s of the Polish Air Force were the most serious burden. Four French Air Force Rafale fighters worked at about the same level in December.
