In Australia, the ataman of the Trans-Baikal Cossacks, Semyon Boykov, had to seek shelter in the Russian consulate in Sydney due to harassment by local law enforcement agencies. This happened after his fight with the participants of the rally in support of Ukraine, writes TASS.

Ataman is accused of moderate beatings. Despite the fact that Boikov was released on bail, the Australian police continued the investigation “in connection with the failure of the parole order.”

The Russian embassy said that “they are taking measures to help Boikov.”

As previously reported by the Public News Service, generalMajor Mick Ryan of the Australian Armed Forces said that the large consumption of ammunition was not only relevant in the past, but also represents an element of reality.

Ryan emphasized that despite the rather high rate of US production of shells, spending exceeds the required supply. And as early as next year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine may face a shortage of ammunition before they start fighting on any section of the contact line.
