Copper sculptures of lions were returned to the Palace Pier after the restoration, which began in September. “Paper” publishes a photo from the embankment.
In addition to the lions, sphinxes from the Egyptian bridge were also sent for restoration in September. Restorers eliminated surface deformations, repaired cracks and removed corrosion.
