Head of the Communists of Russia party Sergei Malinkovich made a proposal to return the remains Joseph Stalin to the mausoleum on Red Square.
“The majority of Russians highly appreciate Stalin’s merits in strengthening the Soviet state,” the RIA Novosti agency quoted the politician as saying.
Malinkovich also noted that it is necessary to transfer the remains from the Kremlin wall to the mausoleum “in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of state leadership.” Moreover, the broadcast of the ceremony should be available to all residents of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, the authorities of Khakassia reported that they had installed in one of schools in the region “Hero’s Desk” in honor of the fallen soldier.
