The volunteer Tomáš Král, criticized for a number of acts, including his former cooperation with the StB, is being replaced by an outsider. He talks about correcting all sorts of iniquities, the necessary investigation and the return of the once famous hockey school to the top of the world. Everywhere he applauded and congratulated him. One might think that a savior is coming.
A view from a different angle warns. There is no reason to rejoice. At least for now. Does the 70-year-old Hadamczik act as a manager of modern editing and a credible moral authority that – like Miroslav Šatan in Slovakia – is guaranteed to lead a distracted movement out of the crisis?
Alois Hadamczik must be convinced that he has changed. That he’s not a stick figure.
