How reported on the website of the city administration, in Smolensk, schoolchildren were quarantined for a week due to exceeding the epidemiological threshold for influenza and SARS.

It follows from the message that such recommendations were given by the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor. So far, it is known that the restrictions will be in effect for seven calendar days until further notice from the authorities.

In many regions of Russia, quarantines are being introduced at educational institutions due to the high incidence of influenza and SARS. So, for example, recently the online publication “Teacher’s Newspaper” reported that in the Orenburg region, sanitary doctors recorded an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza among children and adults. Because of this, quarantine was introduced in a number of schools and kindergartens.

And in Ulan-Ude due to the outbreak of influenza and SARS, 12 out of 55 schools in the city switched to distance learning. also in Kalmykia due to the threat of the spread of influenza and SARS, from December 3, 2022, the activities of all preschool educational organizations, schools, colleges, technical schools and institutions of additional education have been suspended. All of them are transferred to a distance learning format until further notice.
