Press service of Rosobrnadzor reported that the event is aimed at identifying real and reliable data on the level of achievement of meta-subject results and functional literacy among the study group. Indicators of the development of the main educational program in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standards LLC will serve as the basis for further management decisions to improve the quality of education.
The specialists specified that in the 2021/2022 academic year, more than 37,000 seventh-graders from 703 schools in the Chelyabinsk region took part in regional studies. In preparation for RICO 7 2022/2023, a meeting was held in the building of the Chelyabinsk Institute for the Development of Education, where the participants determined the goals and objectives of diagnostics, as well as the structural and content features of control and measuring materials.
The RICO procedure consists in the implementation by students of an individual project, based on the results of which a conclusion is made about the level of preparation of each child. Testing materials include all areas of functional literacy: math literacy, reading literacy, science literacy, financial literacy, global competencies and creative thinking. The RICO procedure leaves the child the right to choose the type of project – research, information and educational, creative, social – and the subject on the basis of which it will be created.
Formerly online publication Uchitelskaya Gazeta reported on the introduction of a new system for assessing the quality of education. It will help to raise the level of training of children and teachers, as well as to see the real situation in the education system, what are the shortcomings and deficits, and, therefore, make the right management decisions.
