The head of state will visit Riga at the invitation of his Latvian counterpart, Egils Levits.

It should be noted that the President of Latvia last year at a summit organized by the President of Bulgaria in Sofia adopted this year’s regional initiative to promote transport, energy and digital communications.

Recall that the Three Seas Initiative includes 12 EU member states in the Baltic, Adriatic and Black Seas, located on the north-south axis of the European continent.
