It turned out that even today Bulgaria is ready to give up oil from Russia.

According to bourgas.ru, it turned out that even today Bulgaria is ready to give up oil from Russia. This was announced by the ex-Deputy Minister of Economy – Nikola Yankov.

“Bulgaria has never been dependent on Russian oil. We don’t have to worry because we’re not on the hook. We are hooked only in our heads,” Yankov said.

According to him, Neftokhim has also processed oil from different countries for many years.

“There were periods of a year or more when the refinery did not work because it was modernized, but people did not understand and this did not affect them in any way. Life in Bulgaria has not stopped,” Yankov said.

According to him, the suspension of Russian oil supplies will not affect Bulgarian consumers.

“There are terminals in Burgas, Varna. There are two refineries in Greece, Turkey. We can import fuel. There is also fuel in the European Union,” the ex-deputy minister of economy explained.

Nikola Yankov said that even with the embargo on Russian oil, fuel prices in our country will not differ from regional ones.

“We do not have a shortage of fuel. We have no problems with transport,” summed up Nikola Yankov.

Recall that today Bulgaria is already disconnected from gas supplies from the Russian Federation and we note. that gas prices in this Balkan country remained at the same level.
