According to bourgas.ru, recently Bulgargaz published its forecast for July, according to which the price of gas in Bulgaria will drop to 142.11 leva per megawatt-hour. This was reported in Bulgargaz.
The estimated price of natural gas for July is BGN 142.11 per MWh (excluding access, transportation, excise and VAT) or EUR 72.66 per MWh, calculated in accordance with the BNB fixing. The settlement price is formed on the basis of the calculated values of the pricing components as of May 11.
For comparison, prices on European gas markets for July delivery on May 11 are approximately 95.50 euros per MWh (or 186.78 leva per MWh), the gas company said.
The final proposal for approving the price of natural gas for July 2022 will be submitted by Bulgargaz to the ECR on July 1, taking into account the quotations of pricing components at the end of June.
On April 1, KEVR determined that in the fourth month of the year, blue fuel will cost 142.59 leva per MWh.
However, our gas company has not yet calculated at what prices the fuel will be sold in the current month of May.
This is expected to happen at the end of this week, and after the price is approved by the energy regulator, it will come into effect retroactively from the beginning of the month.
In the meantime, the Ministry of Energy has begun checking Bulgargaz to set prices for this month, the results of which are expected tomorrow.
