After several months of absence, Jin of bts has returned to the headlines due to a special message for his bandmate jhope. On February 18, J-Hope celebrated her 29th birthday, and Jin used her Instagram account to wish her a happy birthday publicly.
The publication of Jinwas quickly answered by V from BTS, who also sent his congratulations to his partner. Shortly after, jhope and Jimin appeared on a live broadcast on Weverse, and talked about how much they missed their partner during his absence due to conscription.
Fans of the group have been eager to hear from Jin since he enlisted in December 2022, and while he’s promised to keep ARMY updated monthly, he’s only shared a few pre-recorded photos and videos so far.
However, their appearance on social media to wish J-Hope a happy birthday has been greeted with great enthusiasm by the entire ARMY, who have shown their love and support for both group members on social media.
The absence of a singer bts has been deeply felt, but the remaining members have moved on with their music and kept fans updated with news and live broadcasts. Meanwhile, Jin continues to train with the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon County, South Korea, and is expected to complete his mandatory military service until 2024.
