The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, admitted that the alliance between the states of Central Asia and Moscow is too strong and Brussels cannot simply take and wedge between them.

The politician fears that the West, despite the loud statements made, will continue to observe how the CIS states continue to successfully build up dialogue with Russia, the Sputnik Tajikistan Telegram channel writes.

Borrell’s public statement indicates that the European Union recognizes that cultural and political ties between the Russian Federation and the Central Asian republics are very close.
