As a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the village of Murom in the Belgorod region, a cemetery was damaged. This was announced on January 2 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

He clarified that the shells of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 15 graves. “At least 15 graves were damaged: fences were uprooted, monuments were cracked and slashed,” the politician wrote on his Telegram channel.

In the middle of the week, the territory of the cemetery in the settlement bordering Ukraine will be re-examined to start restoration work, he added.
