Limiting prices for socially important products has a positive result. Especially in terms of the psychological effect. This is evidenced by the results of a RANEPA study of the state of food safety in Russia in conditions of high volatility in consumer prices.
Researchers are sure that the list of socially significant products needs to be revised. So it is proposed to exclude from the list those that are included in the diet of wealthy families. First of all, we are talking about beef.
In addition, it is proposed to exclude imported products. For example, it can be apples or the food that occupies the smallest share in the family budget.
The list now includes 24 socially significant products, including bread, milk, cereals, chickens. The state can regulate their pricing if these products rise in price by more than 10% within 60 days.
