The commander of the “Vostok” battalion of the DPR, Alexander Khodakovsky, spoke about the change in the mode of service of the military after the shelling of the school in Makeevka. The strike on the vocational school building was inflicted by the Ukrainian side on the night of December 31 to January 1 by the HIMARS system.

According to the battalion commander, the mobilized are no longer kept “like herrings in a barrel.” A special regime was introduced on the territory to minimize the accumulation of people.

So, the soldiers who fought, for example, in the Kherson direction, who did not see their families for several months, were transferred to the duty regime – a day at work, two at home.

“This temporary measure is both reasonable and humane,” Khodakovsky wrote on his Telegram channel.

Changes to the mechanism for deploying personnel were made after the possible causes of the incident were analyzed. Khodakovsky stressed that commanders should know that “there are no safe places now” and saving the lives of soldiers is their area of responsibility.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as a result of the shelling of a vocational school in Makeyevka, 89 Russian soldiers were killed. 45 soldiers were hospitalized in Samara hospital.

Earlier, The Guardian, citing the words of the deputy head of military intelligence of Ukraine Vadim Skibitsky, reported that in January Russia intends to conduct a second wave of mobilization. More about it read in the material of the Public News Service.
