Baku denied reports of shelling of Armenian armed forces positions on the border

Ministry of Defense Azerbaijan denied the report of the Armenian side about the shelling of positions of the Armed Forces (AF) Armenia on the border. This is reported by TASS.

“The message of the Armenian Ministry of Defense that on November 18, units of the Azerbaijani army allegedly opened fire on the positions of the Armenian Armed Forces in the direction of the Develin region, as a result of which a serviceman was wounded, is an absolute lie,” the message says.

Azerbaijan’s statement notes that the Armenian Ministry of Defense “continues to disseminate untrue information in order to hide arbitrariness in its army.”

Earlier on November 18, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia reported about the injury of an Armenian serviceman on the border as a result of a shot from Azerbaijani positions. An investigation is being conducted to clarify all the circumstances of the incident, the ministry said.
