Austria spoke out about Zelensky’s reluctance to hold presidential elections in Ukraine

At the beginning of November Zelensky stated, that now is not the right time to hold presidential elections, since in wartime one should focus on defense issues. Wherein reportedthat elections could be held on March 31, 2024 and this decision will be explained by the demands of Western partners.

Before this, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kuleba notedthat holding elections amid the ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine would be an “unprecedented challenge.”
