Inhabitants France faced with a sharp rise in the price of water in the country. The reason for the jump in prices was the rise in the price of energy resources. This became known from the message of the French television channel France 3.

According to available data, a sharp rise in the price of water was due to an increase in the cost of the water treatment process. Water treatment systems consume much more expensive electricity, as well as raw materials such as activated carbon and chlorine, which have also increased in price.

It is noted that water tariffs have increased from 5% to 60% depending on the region.
