The Alpine country, like many other European countries, has gradually abandoned much of its anti-epidemic measures in recent weeks.

In April, for example, it decided that people who regularly travel to Austria for work, study or family do not need proof of covid-19 vaccination, last six months or a negative PCR test.

At that time, the obligation to present the mentioned document to tourists remained, but it will not apply to them.

Until now, all tourists, as in other countries, had to prove their proof of covid-19 vaccination, last year’s illness or a negative PCR test in the last 72 hours when entering the country.
