We are talking about pensioners who receive payments in the first half of January through banks. This was announced by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov.
The head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov explained that part of the January pensions is traditionally paid in advance. We are talking about older people who receive a pension in the bank, and the dates for the payment of funds fall on the first days of January. For these pensioners, money is transferred to the account earlier – in the last days of December.
The minister said that pensions began to be transferred this week. As of December 30, almost 23 million people who receive pensions in the first half of January received early payments, he said.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Labor, traditionally pensions for the first days of January are delivered ahead of schedule. This tradition will remain when the Social Fund of Russia is created. But the delivery of pensions through post offices will begin on January 3 in accordance with the delivery schedules.
Formerly online edition “Teacher’s newspaper” reportedthat, according to the order signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the government will send more than 1.49 trillion rubles to the Pension Fund of Russia to provide pensions and social benefits to citizens at the end of 2022, including for January 2023, and also at the beginning of 2023.
