Alyona Zhigalova commented on the scandal surrounding the Latvian singer Laima Vaikule. In her new issue “Alena, damn it! She says, ”the journalist said that she would not be surprised if the performer would soon ask to return to Russia.
Recall that the scandal around Vaikule began with the singer’s statement that she, along with Alla Pugacheva, “supported the entire Soviet Union.” In native Latvia the statement of the artist was considered as a recognition of the participation in the financing of the occupation of the country and they wanted to open a criminal case against her.
“Very soon we will see Laima Vaikule on the Russian-Latvian border, where she will come and say: “Let me go back to Russia. I can still finance, give money to someone, and I will already support the Russian Federation, just don’t start a criminal case against me, ”said Zhigalova.
