After a bus hit five pedestrians in St. Petersburg, a criminal case was opened

The bus driver who drove onto the sidewalk and hit five pedestrians St. Petersburg, detained, criminal case initiated. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the State Administration Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia throughout the city and region.

According to the press service GSU SK Russia in St. Petersburg, a pre-investigation check was organized under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers). The St. Petersburg Transport Committee clarified that the bus was in good working order, and the driver also passed a pre-trip inspection.

Road accident happened at the intersection of Bering and Nalichnaya streets in the Vasileostrovsky district. The incident was caught on video. The Telegram channel “Mash on the Moika” found out that two guys about 25 years old were pulled out from under a bus that flew onto the sidewalk. Their condition is assessed as serious.
