Acting Governor Pavel Malkov was introduced to the Government of the Ryazan Region

On Wednesday, May 11, in the large hall of the regional government, Presidential Envoy to the Central Federal District Igor Shchegolev officially introduced the Acting Governor of the Ryazan Region Pavel Malkov to members of the regional government, representatives of various federal and regional structures.

“Pavel Viktorovich is a modern and experienced leader, a graduate of the personnel management reserve program,” said Igor Schegolev. – He has extensive experience in the field of public administration, large-scale projects at the federal level, knows firsthand the main parameters of the socio-economic development of our country and individual regions. I am sure that he will be able to use all his professionalism, experience and energy for the benefit of the Ryazan region and the inhabitants of the region.”

Igor Shchegolev thanked Nikolai Lyubimov and his entire team for their productive work. He noted that in recent years, industry, agriculture, the social sphere have been actively developing in the Ryazan region, and infrastructure has been expanding. Over the past three years, despite the pandemic, the growth rate of industry in the Ryazan region was three times higher than the national one, and agriculture – five times.

“I am sure that Pavel Viktorovich will give an additional impetus to the projects that have already been started and will increase the achievements. A base for progressive development has been created in the Ryazan region. But there are, as elsewhere, issues that require special attention and new approaches,” the plenipotentiary emphasized.

Igor Shchegolev listed those areas that require priority attention in the region. This includes demography, healthcare, industrial production, and a number of others.

Pavel Malkov, in turn, he promised to make every effort to justify the trust placed in him by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and win the trust of every resident of the Ryazan region.

“There are many tasks, they are complex, but doable,” said Pavel Viktorovich. – Let’s work together. A lot of work has already been done, and I want to thank Nikolai Viktorovich and his team for it. There is a foundation. But there is no time for buildup. Today, time dictates completely different speeds, requests, challenges. But it is not in vain that they say that the more difficult the challenges, the more interesting it is to work. It’s time to get started!”

Nicholas Lyubimov thanked the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Andrey Makarov, senators, deputies of the regional Duma, representatives of municipalities, in a word, everyone with whom he happened to work as head of the Ryazan region.

“Extremely complex tasks have always been and will continue to be faced by regional authorities and municipalities,” he said. – It is important that most of what we planned, we succeeded. Not all, of course, were successful. But I am sure that the new leader will have all the opportunities for this.”

Nikolai Lyubimov also expressed his readiness to continue to help the region to the best of his ability and ability.

“The Ryazan region has become truly native to me,” he said.

Finally, Igor Shchegolev expressed Pavel Malkov one more, special wish.
