Acting Governor Pavel Malkov spoke about his first impressions of working in the Ryazan region

On Friday, May 13, the acting governor of the Ryazan region, Pavel Malkov, held a short briefing after the government meeting.

The head of the region answered questions from the Ryazan media, but first of all clarified the question of the pronunciation of his last name: the emphasis should be placed on the second syllable.

The first question addressed to Pavel Viktorovich concerned his fresh impressions of work in the Ryazan region.

“The first impression is incredibly interesting. A huge number of events, meetings, information. At the same time, now is an unusual time, it requires a quick and coordinated response to all emerging issues. Therefore, direct contact of all team members is now very important. Now I hold meetings, delve into all the problems. It is clear that everyone in their place should do their best for the well-being of the inhabitants of the Ryazan region.”

As Pavel Malkov noted, today he held the first meeting of the regional government. It was mainly devoted to the issues of anti-crisis measures to support residents, the region’s economy, and the execution of instructions from the president and the federal government.

“Today, a number of bills were approved, which, after adoption, will provide support to small businesses, social institutions and people in difficult life situations. We will continue to monitor the situation as a whole in order to quickly respond to any changes,” the acting governor said.
