Acting Governor Pavel Malkov held a working meeting with Chairman of the Ryazan Regional Duma Arkady Fomin
On May 12, Acting Governor Pavel Malkov held a working meeting with Chairman of the Ryazan Regional Duma Arkady Fomin.
We talked about the main areas of work of deputies and their participation in socially significant initiatives and projects.
Arkady Fomin spoke about the activities of the expert councils created during the period of sanctions: on social support for citizens and on issues of assisting business. The most problematic issues are discussed at the site of the regional legislature. One of the topics was the provision of housing for orphans and the preparation of summer camps.
Pavel Malkov noted that for him, as the head of the region, it is extremely important to know the opinion of the expert community from such platforms.
It was also discussed holding the Government Hours in the Regional Duma. As a result of the last, which discussed the reconstruction and construction of roads, parliamentarians, together with the regional government, are preparing a draft resolution. The main thing in this work, according to the Acting Governor, is to set priorities correctly, increase efficiency and ensure strict control over execution.
“It is difficult to overestimate the importance of parliamentary control in this work,” Pavel Malkov stressed.
