Acting Governor of the Ryazan Region Pavel Malkov took part in a meeting of the headquarters of the Government Commission for Regional Development in Russia. It was held via videoconference on Thursday, May 12.
The commission was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. At the meeting, they talked about anti-crisis support measures, the implementation of national and federal projects within the limits of 2022-2024, the construction, reconstruction and modernization of significant facilities in the regions through infrastructure budget loans.
Marat Khusnullin recalled that the President of the country signed significant amendments to the legislation that relate to the construction of infrastructure and the simplification of certain procedures.
“I ask you to actively use all the new opportunities that now exist on the ground,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
According to Khusnullin, the most important measure is preferential mortgages and the decisions taken in this direction, including the extension of the program until the end of 2022 and the expansion of opportunities for home buyers. Work continues on the formation of additional measures to support the construction sector and housing and communal services.
Among the key areas of work, the Deputy Prime Minister named the prompt and effective development of support funds. Marat Khusnullin noted that the implementation of the mortgage program and financing of projects in this area, the fulfillment of the tasks set by Vladimir Putin in housing construction should remain under the special control of the regions.
