The Sarajevo District Court sentenced a resident of Lipetsk for drunk driving to a suspended sentence and deprived him of his license.
Elena Belova, press secretary of the court:
“A 23-year-old young man has already been prosecuted for drunk driving. Then, in March 2020, the Lipetsk city court appointed him 240 hours of compulsory work and deprived him of his driver’s license for 1 year.
But on October 4 last year, the Lipchanin got behind the wheel drunk again. He was stopped by traffic police officers of the Sarajevo police on the street of the Gorky district center. The breathalyzer showed 1.159 milligrams of alcohol per liter of exhaled air.
The Sarajevo District Court found him guilty under Part 2 of Art. 264.1 (driving a vehicle by a person who has a criminal record for committing a crime in a state of intoxication under Parts 2.4 or “b” of Article 264). The man received one year probation and lost his license for three years.
