On May 9, Rostovites and guests of the Don capital will be able to travel from Rostov-on-Don to Taganrog and back in a train driven by a steam locomotive from the North Caucasus Railway Museum. On Victory Day, the steam locomotive with four carriages will depart from Rostov-Glavny station at 09:32 and will follow the commuter train schedule with stops at Tanais, Merzhanovo and Primorka. The final station of the train will be Taganrog-1.

On the o.p. Merzhanovo on this festive day, passengers will be greeted by a field kitchen with soldier’s porridge. And those wishing to visit the museum complex “Sambek Heights” on the o.p. Primorka will be waiting for comfortable buses.

It is worth noting that the proposed trip will cost the passenger a relatively small amount. So for travel on the full route Rostov – Taganrog, the passenger will pay 65 rubles. Tickets will be sold in wagons. We remind you that in order to get on the platform of Rostov-Glavny and board the train, you must definitely take your passport with you, the press service of the North Caucasus Railway reports.

On the way back from the Taganrog-1 station, the train will depart at 15:00 and will also make three stops along the way. The train will arrive in Rostov at the main railway station at 17:22.

It should be reminded that the North Caucasian Suburban Passenger Company has prepared another pleasant surprise for passengers on the Rostov-Taganrog route for the Victory Day. Until May 9, inclusive, there is a 50% discount on travel on all suburban trains of the Taganrog direction.
