Police officers have solved the theft of a motorcycle from a parking lot near a hospital on the outskirts of the city of Ryazan. This was reported by the website of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs on May 11. The stolen property was seized.

A doctor from one of the hospitals in the city of Ryazan contacted the police. He reported that his motorcycle, on which he came to work, was missing. Parked the motorcycle at the gate of the hospital, the doctor noticed after a while that the vehicle was missing.

The motorcycle was equipped with an ignition lock. It was impossible to start it without a special key. Therefore, the police assumed that the motorcycle was either driven away from the parking lot or taken away by car.

There were witnesses who saw the man roll the motorcycle from the gate. Operatives received meager signs of the attacker’s appearance and the approximate time of the theft. They asked at the hospital reception if a man with the indicated signs had recently contacted them. It turned out that a person who looked like the wanted man had indeed entered the medical facility that day. He applied for help and indicated his personal data for this.

This man has been identified. It turned out to be a 41-year-old Ryazan man, previously convicted of causing grievous bodily harm, who lives near the hospital. Near his house, investigators found a stolen motorcycle. The perpetrator was arrested. The stolen property was seized.

The issue of initiating a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The suspect faces a sentence of up to 5 years in prison.
