The thematic concert dedicated to the Victory Day “Let’s bow to those great years” was held in the concert and exhibition hall of the Chekhov Library. It was prepared and presented by the Choir of Three Generations of the Taganrog Institute named after A.P. Chekhov.

The choir, ensembles and soloists performed. Among the chorus girls this time were students of schools No. 6, 21 and the Mariinsky Gymnasium. Considering that the elders in the team of different ages are over 80, it is time for it to be renamed the “Four Generations Choir”.

The creator and director of the choir, Nonna Pomazkina, drew the attention of the public to how many songs filled with warmth, deep meaning and genuine patriotism appeared during the hardest years of the war, which, alas, cannot be said about the modern stage.

Laureates of international competitions Maxim Gamayunov (Moscow, balalaika) and Pavel Korablev (Rostov-on-Don, guitar) became special guests.

Grateful listeners awarded the choir, Nonna Pomazkina, accompanist Lyubov Buryakova and young virtuosos Maxim Gamayunov and Pavel Korablev with flowers and stormy, long applause.

Earlier we reported that more than 30 thousand Taganrog residents became participants “Immortal Regiment”.
